Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm in Victorian

We have a new arrival on our Singapore shores – the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm at S$16.90.

Curious and with a 20% off at Guardian Pharmacy last week, I picked up a very wearable shade in Victorian.

It’s a double ended fat marker.

Victorian is a very wearable pinkish mauve, that matches the body of the marker.

One side’s a marker felt tip that contains the lipstain and the other is a non-retractable lipbalm end that’s covered with a cap.

The lipstain cap has an additional cap within to prevent the felt tip from drying out.

The lipbalm end is very firm and not mushy at all.

The swatch above shows a single swipe of the lipstain end.

Ingredients & Instructions

The lipstain end has a slight grape-like fragrance that’s very faint and not perceptible at all when worn on the lips.

Lipstain, without balm.

That’s with a single coat of Victorian on my lips, without the balm. The colour applies evenly and easily with the marker applicator.

That’s with a coat of the balm over the stain. It’s not a high gloss balm and it does hydrate somewhat.

Much as I like the shade, the staying power for this lipstain is very weak, especially when layered with the balm or another gloss atop it. I’m guessing this might be a problem with the shade as it’s light, compared to the reds and strong pinks that are available for sale as well.

Not recommended by me because of the lousy staying power.
