Darling Girl Flash Sale Purchase

Taking advantage of a 15% flash sale a few weekends ago, I picked up a few FS eyeshadows that I had samples of, as well as a couple more new shades to try.

Darling Girl Cosmetics can be purchased on eCrater http://darlinggirlcosmetics.ecrater.com

(Photos taken in natural light and can be clicked on to view in their original sizes)

Check out that new sticker

I picked up full sizes of Trust Fund, Whimsy and Chai, which you can view my swatches of them here.

New items to be are the fs eyeshadow Bijou, Baby Gum and Wish You Were Here Holo-Glosses, as well as samples of Creampuff and Abbey Road.

New eyeshadows

Swatched on bare skin

Bijou – soft silvery brown with a lot of dimension (yes, it’s a taupe!)
Creampuff – pretty lavender pearl with a soft gold shift and delicate bronze shimmers (very wearable, makes a good lid wash too)
Abbey Road – gorgeous bronze beige pearl leaning a little metallic especially when foiled or used over a sticky base

Work perfect and wearable shades. My favourite, without a doubt, out of the 3? Bijou.

Holo Glosses

Baby Gum and Wish You Were Here are scarily pink in the tube, especially for someone like me that generally can’t swing cool pinks. But because they have a sheer base, they’re both very wearable and enhance the natural shade of your lips.

Baby Gum – gorgeous pink with berry tones and oodles of red and rainbow holo-shimmers
Wish You Were Here – stunning cool pink base with loads of pink and gold glitter

Baby Gum works well on its own as it’s a bit more pigmented than Wish You Were Here and is my favourite out of the 2 🙂
