Taking advantage of a 20% off in June, I placed my first order with Anderson Soap Company on etsy.
A 4 oz jar of Chocolate Drizzle Whipped Soap USD$6.50 and a 12ml Coconut Lemongrass Perfume Roll-on USD$9. Prices listed are before discount. International USPS 1st Class Airmail was USD$7.55.
The items came simply packed with bubblewrap in a standard bubblepac outer envelope. An invoice printed in colour was included. No free samples came along.
Labels are waterproof though not cut properly. Items were not shrinkwrapped nor packed in ziploc bags.
Ingredients are listed on the labels.
Chocolate Drizzle is described as:
Its a chocolaty scent with strong hints of a toasted almond.
Imagine bathing in a rich chocolate cake with rich fudge filling, a touch of whipped cream and sprinkled with almonds!
Coconut Lemongrass Perfume Oil is described as:
Summery, clean and fresh. This scent combination is a beautiful tropical scent. The lemongrass is dominate and the coconut softens the blend up.
The perfume oil’s for a pal so I’ve not used it though I’ve unscrewed the cap to sniff the perfume. It is strong in lemongrass with coconut taking a very backseat. I like it, since I’m not one for coconut scents. 12 ml for USD$9 is pretty reasonable imo.
The chocolate drizzle smells HEAVENLY in a light chocolatey scent mixed with almonds. I’ve used this in the shower and it does lather decently with a small amount (about 1/2 – 3/4 tbsp) used with my washcloth. While the scent is strong in the jar, it doesn’t linger on the skin nor leave my bathroom smelling like chocolates. It does a decent job of cleansing without stripping nor leaving any emollient film behind. I find the price pretty fair for a 4 oz jar.
Yes, I’ll be purchasing more ASC products since they’re having a 30% off for most of July 🙂
