These are the 4 lip swatches I did of the 3 liquid glosses and tinted lip balm from my Darling Girl Cosmetics’ order in June 2011. All 4 are a joy to photograph and are depicted pretty accurately.
Ver-Beige is the newest color shifting gloss. It looks like a deceptively peachy beige pearl but morphs into a silvery lavender pearl.
This has potential to go by itself with a smokey eye look 🙂 It’s not too cool and doesn’t look out of place on warmer skintones like mine.
Adorabubble is one of 3 glosses I made with color shifting mica’s which gives them a neat finish. Adorabubble is a milky lavender with color changes ranging from pastel silvery green, silvery rose to green gold. These color shifting glosses are great on there own or as a layering gloss to alter the appearance of lipstick’s that are too warm.
Adorabubble is cooler than Ver-Beige and slightly more pigmented imo. This would make a good layering shade over a duller or matte lipstick.
Cherry Blossom is a shimmering baby pink. This is the perfect everyday don’t have to think about it gloss.
This is indeed the perfect everyday that’s quite a neutral or slightly warm pink imo. I love it!
Wallflower is a pretty pigmented bold fuchsia with subtle blue shift. It is definitely a look at me shade!
From the description, it certainly isn’t a shade I’d go for. Hence the choice of it in the Review Pack. But WOW. Just look at it! With this, you can probably go without makeup on the rest of the face too. If red is a little passe for you, do try wallflower. It’s not a hot neon pink and I do think the subtle blue shift does tone it down slightly as well as adding a deeper dimension to the shade. Mucho impressivo!
I tested Wallflower while having dinner and it did last through most of it and faded evenly on my lips at the end of the meal.
