Let’s start with the 2 new mineral blush colours – Juicy Peach and Afterglow.
Juicy Peach is not yet listed on the website, so I’m guessing it’s a trial colour undergoing testing 🙂 It is a juicy peach shade with a very light sprinkling of the finest shimmer specks.
Afterglow – A pale shimmery pinky/peach. Beautiful on all skin tones. For fair skin this is a beautiful blush. For darker skin it is a highlighter. Can also be worn as an eyeshadow. Dab some on your lips for a beautiful highlight.
These are pretty good additions to the current blush shades on Lucy Minerals, especially Juicy Peach, which does not lean brown at all. I love it and might just pick up a full size when it gets released. Afterglow is very light and yes, this would make a great lip shade or a highlighting shade for medium – dark skins. Juicy Peach has a matte-ish base, but Afterglow is pure sheer shimmer goodness.
Lucy Minerals says:
Our mineral blushes are highly pigmented. They are free of waxes, chemicals, bismuth oxychloride, preservatives, fragrance, and talc. Use sparingly and be sure to tap excess minerals off of your brush before applying. You can always layer on more color if needed, but usually “less is more”. Packaged in a 10 gram volume jar with a sifter.

Finally! At Long Long Last, I’ve managed to get my hands on the other coloured Ambrosia Lipbalm shades to complete my collection.
Baby Pink – A Soft Shimmery Pink Shade
Soft Rose – Undescribed on the website, but is a wearable warm and soft light-medium rose shade
Mia Rose – A Rose Shade with a Hint of Brown
Sienna Shimmer – A Warm Medium Coppery/Red Shade
(note: Although Mia Rose & Sienna Shimmer look pretty similar when swatched on my underarm, they appear different on my lips)
Aptly named. I like this. If you have very pigmented lips, this probably wouldn’t show up at all. But for pale – medium complected lips, it’s a very subtle and soft shade of pink. Not too cool, so suits warmer skintones too. It’s a shade I can apply on my lips without looking in the mirror.
Soft Rose is a very wearable and work-safe shade. It’s a versatile colour that you can sheer out or go more pigmented.
The hint of brown in Mia Rose takes down the red by a notch from Soft Rose, giving it a coppery reddish brown look, imo.
Sienna Shimmer is the least red shade out of Mia Rose, Soft Rose and itself. To my surprise, while I was expecting a coppery red shade, it turned out looking more like a deeper peach on my lips or a very light bronze 🙂
So never gauge a lip colour by how it looks on your underarm or in the tube.
I’m very happy with my Ambrosia Lipbalms. Because of the ultra luxe ingredients used, they form a nice coating on your lips and can withstand a couple of drinks before needing touchups. Lighter shades or those applied lightly will require more frequent touchups. My lips are instantly moisturised right after application.
