Mmm, Epically Epic’s Nag Champa Solid Lotion

Nag Champa’s supposed to be a famous incense from India. Or maybe The Famous Incense. But I have no idea. Being a Chinese Singaporean, when someone mentions incense, my brain starts processing the incense sticks you find burning at Chinese altars and in Chinese temples, which are very strong in sandalwood. Not the most pleasant of scents as it’s cheap-ish sandalwood.

But I was so awed by the Nag Champa Solid Lotion from Epically Epic Soap Co. found on Etsy.

mmmm I'm in love with Nag Champa

100% VEGAN INGREDIENTS: Macadamia Butter, Candelilla Wax, Jojoba, Olive Squalane, Fragrance, Vitamin E, Mineral Colorant.

This is what Epically Epic describes its Nag Champa as:

You’ll find this Nag Champa scent to be as epically exotic and mysterious as the famous incense from India. The Champa flower (Frangipani) serves as its basis, while sandalwood, orange-flower, ylang-ylang, and tea rose enhance the scent.

I love the delicate balance of the scents in Nag Champa. Frangipani as a base can be very sweet and cloying, but not so here. The touch of sandalwood is very nicely done too.

The solid lotion does its job and gets absorbed pretty quickly by my hands. The perfume is mild and not overbearing at all. It mutes very quickly and doesn’t last beyond probably 30 – 45 minutes. Which probably wouldn’t interfere with your own perfume scents.

Available as part of a 5-tin sampler pack for USD$12 (each tin is 0.25 oz) and USD$6.50 for a 2 oz tin.
