So my neighbour was away for a week, delegating the cat feeding duties to me 🙂 Stray cats at that.
She got back with a little gift for me, which I wasn’t expecting…
Hehehe more makeup goodies.
An Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow (4) travel-sized palette
An Estee Lauder Signature Eyeshadow Quad 01 Sand refill
A full sized Estee Lauder Long Lasting Lipcolor in 118 Bois de Rose
These are all very subtle, failproof shades.
I particularly like how the neutral shades here lean slightly cool, rather than warm.
You have, from left to right:
50 Sandbar Beige (Matte), 18 Sepia Sand (Satin), 33 Ivy Envy (Satin), 45 Lavish Mink (Matte)
Sepia Sand looks like a particularly promising taupe shade 😉 and Sandbar Beige is probably the perfect MLBB shade for me (My Lid But Better)
Bois de Rose looks a soft rose with a touch of mauve to it?
These are swatched on bare skin with no primer under them. While the shades are nowhere as pigmented as mineral eyeshadows, they go on decently. The texture was buttery smooth with a nice glide to them.
My favourites have to be Sepia Sand and the first and fourth colours from left from the 01 Sand quad 😀
That’s a single swipe of the lipstick, which yields a pretty decent colour payoff. It’s a low gloss finish and surprisingly leans warm rather than the shade it looks in its tube.
While these are non-exciting shades, they’re really much staple shades that’d be good to travel around with or to use for interviews, imo. The satin finishes are lovely and I do see myself using them quite a fair bit.
