I had placed a small order last week and am waiting for them to arrive before doing a review. However, this is really tempting me to make another order, a larger order …

This is quite a novel shop (pun-ny :P) whose scents are based on books. To help you out, I’ve compiled a list of their current scents (with some LE/ or d/c).

The scents that appeal to me are The Cobb, Orchard, Isle of Skye, Ethereal, Beguile, Secrets and Alter Ego Dr Jekyll.

Alter Ego “Dr. Jekyll” version – light and airy with ozone & sea spray notes intermingled with linden blossom

Alter Ego “Mr. Hyde” version – a blend of cedarwood & sandalwood with notes of amber, dark musk and rich vanilla

Ambition – warm, tangy ginger and tart lemon with a bottom note of cedarwood

Avarice – warm cedarwood, patchouli and black pepper with hints of raspberry and a lush green forest

Barton Cottage – delicate rose with green ivy notes

Beguile (d/c) – herbaceous rosemary, soothing lavender and a touch of spearmint

Blossom – a garden of lilacs, jasmine, roses and more, mingled with fresh green leaf notes

Celebration – a party of sparkling champagne, creamy orange and a hint of juicy strawberries

Ciento (d/c) – a blend of bananas, smoky almonds and the surprise zing of peppermint with specks of ground vanilla beans

Curiouser – sweet orange marmalade, white cake, tea and a hint of black pepper

Dairymaid – a sweet blend of milk and honey and fresh butter cream

Ethereal – light and airy orange blossoms & jasmine with bottom notes of musk and cedarwood

Fanciful – a gorgeous blend of relaxing lavender, cedarwood, cardamom, warm amber, spicy pepper, vetiver and tonka bean. Herbal and earthy but sweet.

Gloom – rich vanilla, hints of rose and honey with dusky notes of nag champa incense

Isle of Skye – fresh, salty ocean air mingled with sweet pears

Longbourn – Sweet honeysuckle with green leafy grass notes smoothly blended with zesty lemon and herbal undertones

Matchmaker – ripe strawberries, orchid and a touch of plum

Milquestoast – red clover tea, sweet baby roses and sandalwood.

Orchard (d/c) – Crisp apples at their peak in the Fall with notes of almond and cinnamon, subtle floral touches and a hint of vanilla blended with the salty air of the Maine coast

Queen Bee – Warm, cozy and inviting honey

Secrets (LE) – rich, hot cocoa mingled with lemon & ginger, intertwined with orange blossom and jasmine. The florals hit you first, then mellow to smooth chocolate

Sinister – Fall pumpkins, black licorice, carnival cotton candy and a hint of spearmint.

Tara – plantation cotton, lemon balm, a hint of spearmint and lovely southern magnolias. It’s subtle and clean and fresh.

The Cobb – A blend of marine, ozone & sea spray with whispers of jasmine, freesia, lily, citrus and wood grounded by the slightest hint of musk – very clean, fresh and invigorating!

Valentine (LE) – bottom notes of musk, incense, cedarwood and just a whisper of clove, followed by rich, warm honey and breathing in notes of jasmine and orange blossom. A sophisticated, lovely scent that captures the essence of Valentine.
